Infidelity Statistics - Here is Some Fascinating Information Says Dr. Roland Trujillo, Pastoral Counselor and Author on Infidelity

I wrote a very popular article entitled "My Wife Cheated on Me, Now What?" I've been advising people on coping with stress and healing relationships for 22 years. It is my observation that based on what I hear, infidelity is on the rise.

More and more men and women are having to face this issue. They face it as the one involved in an affair, and now facing the hard reality of what it has done to one's relationship, the family, and oneself. Others face it as the person who finds out about their partner's actions.

I found an interesting website called Infidelity Facts. I think it is a good starting point to get a handle on the subject. It is simple and easy to read. It also talks about when does infidelity occur and also about why men cheat and why women cheat.

I do not know who made the site, but like I said I think it is a good starting point. There is much food for thought here.

Please look over my site while you are here, and look inside my new book The Myths and Mysteries of Marriage. It is an in depth marriage repair handbook where you will find insights that will help you.

If your marriage or relationhip is intact. I want to give you a piece of advice that I'm sure you already know. Run, don't walk, from temptation. Joseph ran from temptation and was safe. David lingered on the roof, and his life went downhill from there.

Don't flirt, don't flirt even in jest. Don't have a meal alone with someone of the opposite sex. Don't be in a car alone with someone of the opposite sex. Avoid even the appearance of impropriety. Wear your wedding ring. Wear a T shirt that says "Sorry, I'm already taken. Have a picture of your partner everywhere: on your desk at the office, on your cubicle wall, in your wallet, in the car, and take a big picture with you when you travel and set it up in your room for you to see.
